Loot in End Cities sometimes drops on ground

Sometimes loot from End Cities will be dropped on the ground, instead of put into a chest. To replicate, fly around to End Cities and run the command "/say @e[type=Item]". It doesn't happen all the time, and it took me several different structures to reproduce.
