Glowing effect does not have team color around armor or held items

When shooting someone (or yourself) on a team (with the /scoreboard command) and the color of the team is defined (in this example green) the glow will not become green on places where the player is wearing armor.

How to reproduce:
/scoreboard teams add green
/scoreboard teams option green color green
/scoreboard teams join green <player>
Get spectral arrow and shoot on yourself. (with or without armour).
