Potion Menu in creative

When grabbing a potion out of the creative menu under the potions section it gives you the potion as normal. Although, when you try to put the potion back into the same area to get rid of it. It refuses to take the potion away and does nothing. You actually have to put the potion into the Ghast tear in order to get rid of it through the creative menu.
