I got teleported to someone on a server and my Minecraft crashed!

What I expected to happen was...:
Someone told me to teleport to them, me thinking that it was just a nice plot someone wanted me to see, accepted the teleport request.

What actually happened was...:
I got teleported to the person, and my Minecraft screen went light blue.
