Skeleton aiming arrow through player to wall when they are near player and wall

In hardcore, I was walk around in cave then I saw skeleton and I run to behind wall. Skeleton follow to near me behind wall that skeleton aim arrow through me to wall. Skeleton had fail to aim arrow to me instead of wall.
