Trying to change the controls in 1.7.10 makes my game crash. I click options then when I click controls it crashes!

I open 1.7.10, click on options, then click controls and then my game crashes!

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought I would go to controls and be able to change some controls for the game

What actually happened was...:
As soon as I click (controls) It crashes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run minecraft 1.7.10
2. go to options
3. click controls
