Climate of biomes was changed

A bug that occurred in my minecraft which biomes were apparently changed, I'm in a "cold taiga M", and the game tells you that I am in the biome "extreme hills", so that even the biome being snow is raining in there instead of snow. It is noteworthy that it has happened in other former biomes as well.
