[+1.8]Skins not show for LAN host

As of 1.8, LAN host show up as either Steve or Alex, no matter if a skin (custom) is being used. All other skins are view-able by all, but no player can see host's skin. 1.8 to Latest (as of 7/5/2015 ) has show no addressing to this issue. All versions 1.8 and up show this bug.
