halt when quiting a LAN world

Sometimes I opened "start a LAN world" (for cheat) ,then left the world,and then Minecraft halted.
When I open the world again ,the world is saved.
If I quit the LAN world when I "start a LAN world" 1 hour later,it will not halt, why is that? Can you solve it in 1.8.x or 1.9?
