i don't know whats happening it keeps saying it chrashed and i wished it would stop can you help?

i downloaded minecraft, signed in and it keeps saying it crashed

Steps to Reproduce:
1. sign into minecraft
2. ...edit it to 1.8.7
3. ...press play
