What I expected to happen was...:
Login to the server successfully

What actually happened was...:
I crashed as I logged in

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to 1.7.9 and load server:
Name: Epic Minecrafter
IP: play.epicminecrafter.com
2. Login
3. I was first told connection throttled two times and then login... Crash!
