Minecraft "Server Maintanance" Bug

Whenever I go on a server (take the Hypixel server for example) It stays on the "Logging In..." part for a while and lags a bit, when it finally stops, it says, "Failed to login: the Authentication servers are currently down for maintenance." And when I go to help.mojang.com, it says that everything is fine! Please help I'm highly confused on what's going on
