Scoreboard vanishes when changing dimensions

When entering a different dimension and having a scoreboard set up, (/scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar [objective]) the scoreboard seems to disappear when going to the Nether or The End. This is sometimes fixed by rejoining, or by killing yourself.
