Slow Play/sun and moon do not advance correctly

When I start my game, it shows the words 'downloading terrain' for a very long time, and waiting is not worth it. After, you're spawned in your world and you start gathering wood in the morning , but soon after, you realize the game is freezing and it keeps going. I also realized that it was going to be morning forever since the sun was rising, then it had a glitch and it teleported back without warning by at least 100 time units.
