minecraft is crashing before i get into the game!

My minecraft isn't letting me play! It crash's if i press play

I thought i was going to press play then play the game like normal

I clicked play and MOJANG popped up and then it go's back to the area where you press play!!
Steps to Reproduce:
1. put your game in 1.8.7
2. press play
