Insufficient handling of Damage tag
- Filled maps have no Damage value restriction:
When you reach the map id 32767 and then create a new map, it will stay the next 32768 maps at 0, because Minecraft starts then with -32768 which is invalid so it defaults it to 0.
- Items with defaulted Damage value:
If you give yourself an item with invalid Damage value, like/give @p bone 1 1
It acts really strange as it doesn't show its damage value, but still has a different one than the default.
