Screen flashes when you enter a world and continues to flash while you play. 1.8.1 and on. Intel graphics cards only.

What I expected to happen was...:
The game should display the world normally.

What actually happened was...:
The world as well as the item bar flash white periodically

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run the game on a computer that has run version 1.8.1 on it at least. The issue started when I ran this version for the first time. The computer must have an intel chipset or graphics card.
2. open any world. The flashing should start imediately
