It crashed...

Well, the game "Minecraft" crashed and what I was doing then was, I was downloading Java so I could play a LAN game with my friend(s) and then it just crashed when it finished. I did read the guidelines of Java and it said "Please close windows for this update to do it's work," or something like it. but since Minecraft is a game, I didn't think it would work.

Overall, I think this bug is my fault because I was downloading Java, but if this doesn't happen to other people... I'm seeking help.

Now the Minecraft launcher isn't working. Please help me.
