Minecraft 1.8.3 Difficulty glitch

The world difficulty "unlocks" itself upon entering, exiting the nether through a portal.

To re-create:

1. "Lock" the world difficulty to desired difficulty
2. Enter the nether through a portal
3. The world difficulty is now "unlocked" again
