I'm getting multiple crash reports when trying to download the game for the first time (after purchase)

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected the game to download and be able to play

What actually happened was...:
a window opened and on the tab it is called 'crash report'. If you press play at the bottom of the screen it just ends up repeating the above

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Purchase the game
2. Open and run the program
3. Press the big 'Play' button at the bottom of the screen
