Zombies turning villagers through doors

I'd have expected villagers to be safe within their houses as long as the zombie doesn't break down the door to get in and attack them

What actually happens, is zombies are able to turn villagers into zombie villagers simply by standing by the door outside

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a village
2. Get a zombie
