Minecraft redstone repeater texture bug/glitch

What I expected to happen was...:
the repeater block would appear as normal

What actually happened was...:
The repeater block had a bedrock texture on the delay swich

Steps to Reproduce:
1. place redstone current source
2. place repeater straight
3. place another repeater going to the left or right in front of first repeater
