Application will not open

What I expected to happen was...: The minecraft application would open

What actually happened was...: The minecraft application is not opening but the launcher is. I suspect that it was because I installed a recourse pack that was 512x 512. All I need to know is how to manually open the recourse pack folder to remove this texture pack so I can continue playing.
