Twitch Account Linked but ingame it thinks there is no linked account

I have linked TwitchTV and Mojang accounts, also unlinked and relinked, to no avail. Ingame when attempting to stream I am informed that My accounts are not "connected" when if checking both accounts' settings it clearly is. In other solutions I have seen it has been due to account migration but I do beleive this is not the case as my account is with Mojang and the Migrate page just takes me to my profile I therefore assume this is a bug and would very much like this problem to be checked, verified and fixed please.

ps I primarily play 1.7.10 but your bugtracker would not allowto pick said version.
