Covered DL Sensor inverts instead of stops

built a big home, and i made a secret entrance where you had to 1:flip the correct switch on floor 2 and 2:wait till morning and when i made the piston coverup for the switches to function right, it just inverted the dl sensor instead and it closed at day and opened at night, and when i flipped the switch to make the stone bricks be pulled back and let light in, it returned to regular day-open night-closed function then i flipped it again to make the stone bricks cover it again and instead of functioning like a solar panel like it is supposed to t just inverted itself again!
