Jumping glitch (hard to explain)

If you jump of a tower of 3 blocks high you lose one full heart, yet if you step off (dont jump when you go off the tower) you only lose half of a heart. im sorry if I haven't explained this very well and im sorry if im wasting someone's time. just a minor bug i found while 'glitch hunting'
