Unable to connect to a LAN game

I attempt to setup and connect to a LAN game on my home network. I started the game on one computer and selected Open to LAN. On the other computer, I selected Multiplayer and did not see the game.

I also tried to direct connect using the IP:Port Numer. The other computer still could not connect to the game.

I allowed Minecraft to pass through the firewall. This did not solve the problem either.
