Endportal 'Portal' texture does not show its there when looking up from under it.

When creating or using the pregen'd endportal frame and activating the portal, it only appears from looking down at it. When looking up at it from underneath the endportal frame. The portal texture itself is invisible/missing.

Only verified this happens so far in 1.8.3, 1.8.1, so far.
