I don't know why but minecraft always crashes when i try and open it

What I expected to happen was minecraft would open up and i could play...:
Minecraft opens up, loads,and i can play

What actually happened was minecraft crashed and would not open...:
I click play, and than a crash report opens
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open minecraft
2.click play
