Enchantment tables do not get level boosts from bookshelves.

Book shelves should increase the quality of the enchantments you get

The enchantments given to me were the same as if no bookshelves were used

step 1 put down enchant table
step 2 surround with book shelves a with a one block gap in between bookshelves and enchant table
step 3 look at enchants
