Game freezes when going to bed after killing ender dragon

We play in creative (easy) mode and kill the ender dragon. After getting the egg, we go back through the portal and place the egg in our world. This does not remove the egg from our hotbar since we are in creative mode. We then placed another egg in another part of the map and it became night (normal cycle). When we try to go to bed, the game freezes and we have to reboot the Xbox. We tried this in two different worlds and it does the same in both.
