1.7.9 on servers

Hey,

when I want to play on a 1.7.9 bukkit server, my game crashes and it sais: "ticking screen". but it does work with 1.8 and later versions. the exact moment it crashes, is the moment after it sais "logging in" and "loading world" when I'm logging on the server.

also, with my older windows 7 pc, i can go on such servers, but with my newer 1.8 pc, I can't.

I don't know what the problem is.

can you fix it fast please, because i have a server myself wich is 1.7.9, and I can't go on now.

P.S.: there is no version "1.7.9" in the "affects Version/s" avaible. could be handy.(look above)
