2nd screen mouse error

when i project an extended screen to a 32" tv though HDMI and move my minecraft game to it the game is unplayable as the mouse movement goes crazy and tends to stop moving when aiming down all the way. i have seen this through both the touch pad (as i am using a laptop) and also through a usb mouse. the mouse will however function completely normal when the game is NOT selected. i have not tried other TVs, or other 2nd screen modes (double screen)

1. connect to a tv through HDMI
2. project extended screen
3. try to look around in minecraft with the game window on the tv/extened screen.
