Breaking a jukebox causes End of Stream and erases the chunk its in.

I decided to move a jukebox in my base from one spot to another, but unfortunately when I destroyed it (empty, had no disk inside) with my efficieny IV fortune II diamond enchanted Axe, it kicked me from the server and said "End of Stream." I logged back on to find out I am suffocating in a wall. I dig upwards, being in the same exact spot as when I was kicked, but the entire chunk was deleted from memory and renewed to its original state. There was some redstone things in the chunk, along with a nether portal. Nothing else out of the ordinary happening that I can say. The jukebox has been there quite some time, if that makes any difference.
