blinking graphics

In Minecraft Realms 1.8 the terrain and all graphics blinks occassionally or turns completely blue (like water). I have my settings at 8 chunks and 120 fps. My graphics card is an Intel(R) HD Graphics. It doesn't do this to 1.7.10. How can I fix it? If I can't, what do I do? Can you fix this issue in minecraft if there's nothing I can do? It's extremely annoying and I can't see what I'm doing when it happens where I'm working. It does this in creative and survival.
