Chunks of the world keep flashing over and over again

When I am playing the game and loading new chunks, certain ones start flashing over and over again, and I can't see anything but black space in those chunks. I have some pictures to make more sense of what I'm saying. I'm updated to all the latest drivers, and I am using vanilla 1.8.1.
