You can't use the bedrock-remove-method using dark oak trees anymore.

So I was curious if the bedrock-remove-method was still working in the latest Minecraft version (Minecraft 1.8.2 pre-6). This method uses dark oak sapplings to let the trunks of the tree grow into the bedrock on top of the nether for example. I tested it out in my singleplayer test world. And I tried like 30 times to bonemeal the sapplings, but it didn't work for me. I have no idea if this is a bug or you guys removed the abillity to do this.
