Frozen horse on fire

I was riding on a horse in creative (this bug is also in survival). When I used flint and steel and rid the horse into the fire, the horse stood there, frozen, for a moment, even when I tried to make it move. I don't know if this bug affects versions apart from 1.8.2-pre1.
