can't destroy/create anything after being in creative mode once

I was on a private online server and i had to do something in creative mode so i typed: /gamemode 1

Then i wanted to play in normal survival mode again, so i typed: /gamemode 2

So right now i was in survival mode again but now i'm unable to destroy/create blocks. when i hit a block, there's no damage

i restarted minecraft... deinstalled and resinstalled it but it still doesn't work

i tried the same in single player and the same effect was the result
