When i click join server it logs in it does not even show the spawn area it just goes to the normal brown poading page then crashes and then goes to a crash report page (it was on 1.7.9 but version only goes to 1.8)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go into minecraft
2. click on server
3. joins but crashes
