[MC-75179] Screen goes black after clicking play

I was playing on pvp.thearchon.net on factions, when i decided to have my game fullscreen on my mac. After clicking on fullscreen button the screen went black and all i could see was my cursur, and i was forced to shut down my laptop. Once I turned my laptop back on and reached minecraft i was at the launcher and pressed play when my computer did the same thing it before with the black screen. After restarting my laptop i deleted minecraft and then downloaded it again from minecraft.net. And that didn't improve the problem.
