All blocks disappearing

Minecraft works fine for the first minute or so, but (especially while flying) soon almost all blocks (except for the chunk you're on) disappear so that you can only see the entities. This also happens to lava and water. Reloading chunks only makes every single block disappear. Screenshots of multiple seeds attached.
