high resolution pack

What I expected to happen was...:
mine craft to run smoothly.

What actually happened was...:
it loads the mojang screen as normal, and then crashes - showing me the problems and then suggested using a lower resolution pack.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open launcher
2. ... press "play"
3. ...wait for crash
