Using VBO's crashes Minecraft

I runned Minecraft 1.8 and 1.8.1 and when i joined my SinglePlayer world it worked fine,but then i enabled VBO's (Vertex Buffer Object) and I played for 5 minuted and then Minecraft closed and it sent me to the launcher.I tried it again, and got the same result.
