Portal Teleportation Glitch

When teleporting through a portal, the player is "placed" 1 block forward and 3.5 blocks to the side of the portal. Attached image shows where player was "placed" after passing through portal. Glitch occurs through both directions: overworld to nether, and netther to overworld.
