Crafting recipe for hoppers not working. A hopper doesn't appear in the "crafted item" box in the crafting table when I have put the recipe in correctly.

While I was playing on my singleplayer survival world I wanted to make hoppers. When I put in the recipe in the crafting table:Stone Stone
Stone Chest Stone
Stone
Nothing appeared in the "crafted Item" box in the crafting table. The hopper item doesn't appear.
