When I started playing today all my progress from yesterday was reverted

Today when I went onto my survival world I lost all the progress I did yesterday and all the items I used to craft yesterday were all gone. Then I did some more stuff today and then I save and quit and went back on a few hours later and then all my progress was reverted back to where I was yesterday and once again all the stuff I crafted disappeared. The only thing I noticed is that the small Halloween updated happened between yesterday and today, so not sure if that has something to do with it
