Players cannot see through ice when stuck inside of it

The Bug:

Players cannot see through ice when stuck inside of it.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Summon a large block of ice and teleport inside it by using the commands provided below.

   /fill ~1 ~ ~1 ~5 ~4 ~5 minecraft:ice

   /tp @s ~3 ~1 ~3
   

2. Observe your surroundings.
3. Take note as to whether or not players can see through ice when stuck inside of it.

Observed Behavior:

Players cannot see through ice when stuck inside of it.

Expected Behavior:

Players would be able to see through ice when stuck inside of it, as it's transparent.
