Can't copy/paste/highlight-all on OS X Yosemite

I've been able to use ctrl-c/v/a (not command) to be able to copy/paste/highlight-all in OS X Mavericks, respectively, but now that I've upgraded to OS X Yosemite, that does not work anymore. I don't know if this is a Minecraft issue or a Java or Apple one, but it's very annoying since I like to play with commands.
