cmd key gets stuck when trying to type on mac

If I exit from Minecraft and switch to another application and switch back to Minecraft I press the letter A and the text gets highlighted (the actual shortcut is cmd + A). The same problem appears when pressing C (copy), V (paste) X (cut), backspace (deletes entire word).
